Hestia’s Coming Out Party, November 2023
The door into Quip and Curiosity is 64cm wide. We know this is smaller than most wheelchairs. There is level access throughout. There is no wheelchair accessible toilet. We have seating.
BLIND OR PARTIALLY SIGHTED
There is no low level lighting in the building. All our staff and volunteers will be wearing yellow lanyards.
D/DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING
We unfortunately do not have a hearing loop or BSL interpreter.
GUIDE AND ASSISTANCE ANIMALS
You are welcome to bring guide and assistant animals.
There is seating. If all the seats are taken at any point please ask one of our staff and volunteers in a yellow lanyard, who will assist in getting you one.
The space is a bit cold, but there will be a heater, please dress comfortably. We don’t have any lockers to store possessions. The space has a bit of an echo and can get quite loud. There is a Chillout Zone in a separate area which will be available most of the day, please see our programme for details. The lighting levels will change throughout the day.
There is one single gender-neutral toilet in a small space. There is no baby change facility.
We have some events which may be emotionally challenging. We will supply information about content warnings before the events.
